Amman Film Industry Days PITCHING PLATFORM

TThe Amman Film Industry Days (AFID), the industry arm of the Amman International Film Festival – Awal Film, took place primarily online from the 20th to the 26th of August, 2020, whereas certain activities were held in a “hybrid” (physical and online) format.

During this exciting forum that combined sessions and workshops on topics of importance to film industry professionals, 14 narrative and documentary feature-length projects by Jordanian and Arab filmmakers, in both development and post-production stages, were presented through AFID’s pitching platforms. The selected participants pitched their film projects online to an independent jury. Support, in the form of cash and in-kind prizes, was awarded to the best projects/pitches to help bring their films to completion.
