Angeliki Vergou

Angeliki Vergou is the Head of Agora, the industry section for both Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival and Thessaloniki International Film Festival. The Agora focuses on the Southeastern Europe and Mediterranean regions and includes industry activities such as the “Crossroads Co-production Forum” and the “Thessaloniki Pitching Forum” for fiction films and documentaries in development, the “Agora Works in Progress” and the “Docs in Progress” for films in the post production stage, the “Film & Doc Market” and a variety of other exciting industry events aiming to connect and inspire documentary filmmakers while supporting them in their next steps. Vergou is a member in the Documentary Association of Europe (DAE) and an alumna of various storytelling training programs and more (MIDPOINT Institute, MFI Institute, Sources2, SOFA).
