About AFID

Amman Film Industry Days (AFID)Β offers a comprehensive program of networking opportunities, project support, masterclasses, workshops and panels designed to empower filmmakers in Jordan and the region.

AFID features three competitive pitching platforms for projects in development and post-production, with a professional jury granting cash and in-kind awards. The Amman Film Market continues to connect filmmakers with funders, partners and distributors, while offering additional awards through strategic industry partners.

This year, in collaboration with theΒ Royal Film Commission - Jordan, AFID introducesΒ The Short Film Incubator, a new development program supporting Jordanian short film projects through mentorship, script development, dossier preparation and pitching training, culminating in a dedicated pitching session and development award during AFID.

Together, these platforms reflect AFID’s ongoing commitment to nurturing creative talent and supporting the next generation of storytellers in Jordan and across the Arab region.
