Ward's Henna Party

Synopsis: Halima is a Sudanese henna painter living in Egypt. She goes to one of Giza's local areas to prepare a bride for her wedding with her 7-year-old daughter Ward. Ward starts to wander around and discover the place.

Directors’ Biography: Morad Mostafa is an Egyptian Filmmaker, born in 1988 in Cairo. He studied filmmaking in Egypt and started his career as an Assistant Director in various independent films. He Collaborated as an Executive Director in "Souad", a feature film that made the Official Selection at Cannes Film Festival 2020 and Berlinale 2021. "Henet Ward” had its world premiere in Clermont-Ferrand and was selected in other major festivals. The film won more than 25 international awards.
