Amman International Film Festival – Awal Film (AIFF) is aimed at debut achievements in film from all over the world, with a focus on Arab cinema. In addition to its screening programme, which highlights originality and strength of form in the use of film as a medium, the AIFF has a developed an industry section, Amman Film Industry Days (AFID) which targets professional filmmakers and includes a market and pitching platforms.

AMMAN FILM INDUSTRY DAYS (AFID)
Amman Film Industry Days (AFID) offers a comprehensive program of networking opportunities, project support, masterclasses, workshops and panels designed to empower filmmakers in Jordan and the region.
AFID features three competitive pitching platforms for projects in development and post-production, with a professional jury granting cash and in-kind awards. The Amman Film Market continues to connect filmmakers with funders, partners and distributors, while offering additional awards through strategic industry partners.
This year, in collaboration with the Royal Film Commission - Jordan, AFID introduces The Short Film Incubator, a new development program supporting Jordanian short film projects through mentorship, script development, dossier preparation and pitching training, culminating in a dedicated pitching session and development award during AFID.
Together, these platforms reflect AFID’s ongoing commitment to nurturing creative talent and supporting the next generation of storytellers in Jordan and across the Arab region.
