Moderated by journalist Jihene Al Turki, this session will explore her extensive experience in the film industry, from her early days to her current status as an international star. The discussion will cover the art of acting, overcoming challenges, choosing meaningful roles, and advocating for causes through art. Additionally, Abbass will discuss how she manages fame and balances her professional and personal life, as well as the impact of technology and social media on her career.
The event will conclude on Monday, July 8, 2024, at 6 PM with a session featuring Alana Hadid and Mounir Atallah, moderated by Jordanian director Fadi Haddad. It will also address the role of the creative industry in combating cultural distortion, emphasising impactful collaborations, and the influential role of films in driving societal change.
