Amman International Film Festival Organises an Artistic Incubator for the Film Industry

Amman, 1^st December 2019: The Amman International Film Festival – Awal Film (AIFF) is announcing that it will be organising the Amman Film Industry Days (AFID) during the festival; AFID will take place between Wednesday 15^th of April and Friday 17^th April 2020 and will offer a platform for pitching projects in development by Jordanian and Arab resident filmmakers; as well as projects in post-production by Arab filmmakers.

AFID, an incubator that supports artistic and creative development, will also host master classes with renowned directors and film stars, in addition to holding seminars and discussions with producers, financiers and distributors. The industry part of the festival revolves around contemporary topics and issues in Arab and international cinema and aims to act as a networking hub for Jordanian, regional and international industry professionals.

Selected participants for AFID will be able to pitch their film projects in front of industry professionals; the best project pitches will be awarded assistance to either develop their films or bring them to completion.

• Registration for AFID will open in February 2020.

The first edition of Amman International Film Festival – Awal Film will run from the 13th until the 18th of April 2020.
