A Tunisian film producer since 1994. She has produced and co-produced several award-winning documentaries, short and feature films including โSatin Rougeโ, โBuried Secretsโ and โForeign Bodyโ by Raja Amari, โInhebbek Hediโ , โWeldiโ and โBehind the Mountainsโ by Mohamed Ben Attia.
Bouchoucha founded the SUD ECRITURE workshops in 1997, which she has been running since. She also founded the Carthage Film Festival (JCC) Projectsโ workshop in 1992 and headed JCC in 2008, 2010 and 2014. Moreover, she was the director of Manarat, Mediterranean festival in Tunisia in 2018, 2019 and 2021.
Bouchoucha is twice decorated by the Tunisian Republic to the highest rank of Grand Officer of the Republic and was awarded the Tahar Haddad Award for best Ambassador of Tunisian culture.
In Cannes 2015, she was named Commander of Arts and Letters by the French Minister of Culture. In addition to have been named member of the Commission for Individual Freedoms and Equality (COLIBE) by the President of the Republic of Tunisia in 2017.
