Synopsis: Molly is moving into her new apartment after a tragic accident when a strange noise from the upper floor turns everything upside down. The ever-increasing knocking almost sounds like morse code, but when she confronts her neighbours, no one can hear what she is hearing. Everyone starts questioning Molly, and before she knows it, she is thrust into a quest for the truth.

Director’s Biography: Frida Kempff is a Swedish director and scriptwriter with a bachelor’s degree from the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts. Her films have been screened and awarded in renowned festivals, including Cannes, Sundance, Telluride, IDFA, London IFF, and Gothenburg. In 2010 she was the first Swede since 1957 to win an award with a short film at the main competition at Cannes with Bathing Micky. Knocking is Kempff’s début narrative feature film.
