STRAY EAGLES

Synopsis: During the Fascist era in 1940s Italy, all youth associations except the fascist ones are closed. A group defied this ban and founded the Stray Eagles group, continuing the activities of the boy-scout movement in secret, based on their promise: to help others in every circumstance. They discover a secret place in the mountains near Milan, where they resist the Fascist regime and collaborate with others to defend those persecuted.

Director’s biography: Gianni Aureli is an Italian director and filmmaker; he holds a PhD in Cinema and Digital Entertainment. In addition, he is a director and a video maker of video clips and promotional videos. His latest short film “Everything is Cinema!” won several awards in Italian festivals. “Stray Eagles” is his first feature-length film.
