Gladys Joujou

Gladys Joujou is a film editor of Lebanese origin whose work spans international fiction and documentary films. She has edited Hollywood productions such as Oliver Stone’s “Alexander”, French films like Jacques Doillon’s “Raja”, and independent titles including Ghassan Salhab’s “Beyrouth Fantôme” and “Terra Incognita”, Carlos Chahine’s “Mother Valley” and Philippe Van Leeuw’s “Insyriated” and “The Wall”. Her documentary credits include Raed Andoni’s “Ghost Hunting”, Suhaib Gasmelbari’s “Talking About Trees”, Boubacar Sangaré’s “A Golden Life” and “Djeliya”, Rami Farah’s “A Comedian in a Syrian Tragedy” and “Our Memory Belongs to Us”, Nadine Naous’ “Chacun sa Palestine”, Khaled Jarrar’s “Notes on Displacement”, Samaher Elqadi’s “As I Want”, Hind Meddeb’s “Sudan, Remember Us”, and Lina Soualem’s “Their Algeria” and “Bye Bye Tiberias”. Many of these films have screened and won awards internationally. Joujou also works as a story consultant and editing tutor at international documentary workshops.
