Amman International Film Festival – Awal Film (AIFF) is aimed at debut achievements in film from all over the world, while also promoting Jordan’s up-and-coming pool of professional audiovisual sector. With a main focus on emerging filmmakers, AIFF seeks works that manifest artistic boldness, strength of form and originality in the use of the medium of film. The black iris is one of the rarest wild flowers in the world. It is found in the plains of Jordan, from Ajloun to the Jordan River, and has become the Jordanian national flower. Despite its fragile look, it withstands harsh weather and strong winds, while its deep purple color represents nobility and royalty. It is delicate, unique and multilayered. Read More
