Tareq Al Nasser is one of the Arab worldβs most influential composers, renowned for pioneering a distinctive modern Arabic musical movement that bridges heritage and contemporary expression. Over a career spanning decades, he has composed acclaimed soundtracks and scores for some of the most celebrated Arab television dramas, including The End of a Brave Man, Brothers of the Earth, The Predators, Kings of Cults, Letters of Love and War, and King Farouq, which earned the Golden Award at the Cairo Festival of Arab Media in 2007.
In 2001, he composed the soundtrack for A Royal Tour, the internationally broadcast documentary featuring His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan. In 1998, he founded the Rum Group, an ensemble blending Eastern and Western musical traditions while drawing inspiration from Jordanian, Arab, and global heritage.
Beyond composition, Al Nasser is dedicated to preserving and reimagining musical heritage, mentoring young musicians, and promoting cultural dialogue through music. His work has been presented across the Middle East, Europe, Central Asia, North and South America.
