Synopsis: Arnaud is my little brother. One day, I realise that he had grown up. He was born where people have been deprived from their right to make choices, and he tries to be what he should have been… Free.
Director’s Biography: Laure Portier was born in 1983 in France. After getting her degree in Literature in Toulouse and a year at École Supérieure d'Audiovisuel, she joins Institut Supérieur des Arts film school in Brussels. Upon graduation, she became a camera assistant and worked on feature films. She presented her first short film, Her first short film, The Dog’s Eye was awarded by the Cinéma du Réel festival in 2019. Soy Libre is her first feature-length film.
